There are only 100 days until I get to do the thing I love most!
Only 100 days until I get to see the 2009 intro video!
Only 100 days until the FIRST ever game is played in the Dallas Cowboys New Stadium!
Only 100 days until KICKOFF!!
There's ONLY ONE OKLAHOMA!
and only 100 more days until I get to cheer at a game!

It's been awhile since I've done a movie post. I feel like it had been forever since I'd been to the actual Movie Theater. (that's what happens when you don't have to be secret friends with someone and only see each other at the central movie theater, but that's a WHOLE different post).
The movie was good. I didn't see The Da Vinci Code or read either of the books so I have nothing to base my opinion on. The plot twists were nice (because I like to be surprised) sadly they were laid out for you to clearly read, even if you never took an AP English class. I mean really I was surprised there wasn't a neon sign at one point that flashed "This is FORESHADOWING". I at one point wished that I could have discussed this instead of Walden, (the train means he's lonely, I still think maybe he just heard a train, but what do I know). I did find myself a little frustrated at the characters and their lack of ability to get things accomplished in what I consider to be a timely manner. But, nothing to bad. Robert Langdon was not your normal crime fighter, he didn't hit or shoot anyone the entire movie, and mostly just ran away from danger. I could have lived without the female character she had very little purpose in my mind. I was truly offended that they killed off one particular character. But, I'm sure I'll get over it. We watched the movie at the Warren Theater and my favorite thing about that theater is the Neon Clocks they put on the wall. Not only was it nice since this movie was SO long (and I really had to use the restroom, it was nice to know exactly how long I'd have to wait) but it also helped me predict the plot of the movie a little better.
My favorite quote of the movie was when Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) said "Faith is a gift I've yet to receive."

This is my current arch nemesis Soda Popinski. I will beat him!

Then I had this in my email when I got to work...

When I got back the garage door was open. If my dog hadn't been inside I would have turned around and found somewhere else to sleep.
Alas, Kuddles was inside and I decided to be brave and enter the house praying I didn't get murdered. I was on the phone. I choose to believe that Scott would be able to help if something were to happen to me. I walked through the house checking behind every couch, in every closet, and under the beds, pretty much anywhere any sized human could fit. I found nothing. But, was pretty convinced that was because whoever was in there was hiding in the attic.
One of my friends texted me and I let him know I probably wouldn't make it though the night. So, at least that way two people knew what happened to me.
I slept with my contacts in because I am scared to death that I'll get kidnapped in the middle of the night and won't be able to see a thing. I moved the chest of drawers in front of my door and had a horrible nights sleep.
Tonight I will not be sleeping at home.
There has to be some way you can teach your children to be safe and cautious of their surroundings without making them neurotic individuals. My mom did not accomplish that with me, I hope I can do better for my children. Note to self scare tactic does NOT work!
In case you're wondering NEITHER of the people who knew what had happened called/texted/emailed me today to make sure I made it though the night! EW!

I took French in high school (and college) not spanish.
I'm almost certain that in America cinco de mayo is just another organized reason for college kids to drink...I mean it's been a long time since the 17 of March.
now days the word cinco makes me think of ocho cinco...so silly.
but a midweek margarita doesn't sound too bad :)

Sadly, I didn't take one picture of Miss. Mia Grace (I stole these right off Megan's facebook I hope she doesn't mind, but since she doesn't read my blog I thnk I'm safe). But I met her! and she's about as cute as she can be! I saw Megan and Brandyn too, it had been way too long!! She's too cute not too feature!
Brandyn makes Mia laugh so much!
She has her Mommy's eyes!!
