I almost forgot! Gas is down to $1.93 as of this morning here in Oklahoma! Amazing!

Please not that OPEC is having a meeting again soon so gas prices will be going back up, it is suspected that they will be limiting the amount of oil being produced so that gas prices do not keep dropping. Iran needs the price of oil to stay around $90 a barrel in order to keep on their budget.

Here's hoping we get a president who will drill here!

But, for now enjoy it!! I am!

planes and rain.

In case you didn't know I love a good conspiracy theory probably way more than the next girl. I think it is so much fun to listen to someone talk with passion about something most people wouldn't even acknowledge. The flat-earthers are probably my favorite to reference because that was my first true experience with it. There are people who still believe the earth is flat, they are out there, trying to prove it. AMAZING! I had a professor in college that is very much consumed with the conspiracy theories surrounding the death of JFK. I couldn't get enough of his lectures, which is I'm sure how I ended up majoring in sociology. The thing is some of these things are true, they just aren't wildly believed by the public. Years ago I began researching how global-warming was not man-made, and now there are so many people that agree with me. So, recently I've started looking into something new. Someone suggested to me that humans have destroyed natures ability to make it rain on its own. I believe that about as much as the earth being flat. But, if someone believes that there must be more to it. Today I'm researching if we are capable of making rain clouds, and if it we are what the government would use this ability for. Amazingly, I have discovered that not only are humans capable of making it rain but we do it! I have not been able to find anything that supports we can make clouds but this video may help to shed some light on why this may be possible. And if nothing else I am amazed to know that the Chinese government "seeded" (made it rain) the clouds in order to try and ensure there would be no rain during the Olympics.

no id, no movie.

So, last night I went to the movies with my friend. I had on no makeup and my hair was in a pony tail. I didn't look bad, but I wasn't trying to impress anyone either. So, we picked a movie and he went to buy the tickets. I was basking in the heaters they have (it made me feel like I was in Florida.) I walked up and the ticket man said "I don't think they'll let you in without your ID." It was the really strict guy that always makes us show both of our student ids to get the discount. So, I just kind of stared blankly at him, really? It's been several years since I was IDed for an R rated movie. He said yesterday they weren't letting people that were too young in to see it. WHAT? I couldn't even form a complete thought. Do I look like I'm 16 years old? Do I? Friend was like come on, it's okay, no big deal. But, of course I didn't have my driver's license because I move it for football games and forgot to put it back where it belongs. He said come on let's go in and see what happens. So, we walk up to the ticket-taker lady and I said, I don't have my ID I want to see Saw and I'm almost 26 years old. She said "no way" "I really am". I said he has his ID and actually I'm 9 days older than him, meanwhile he is reciting our date of births to the nice lady. She said I have to see this I don't believe it. Friend handed over his ID and she studied it, like people do when I buy alcohol and they think it for sure must be fake. Next step call people over and say how old do you think they are, oh how I love that game. I win every time. Of course the best comment was "well I can see it with him but for her no way" People to not get into an R rated movie I'd have to be 16, don't we think there is a bigger problem than trying to see this movie if I'm at the movies with some 26 year old guy? Then comes the you're so luckys, someday I'm sure it will make me feel lucky. They did let us both in the movie.

Also, said friend ripped his pants and was trying to hide it. I had to go to the car and get him different ones, so I was walking around with pants (not showing my ticket stub because everyone knows me now.) and he lost his phone the night before at the movies and we were searching the theater for that. We were at the movie over an hour early and were sitting talking in the lobby (that's normal for us, we don't check movie times, we just show up and see whatever fits) Needless to say after last nights adventures I think we might have to find another theater....

Friday after school!

Okay, so as promised this is the frist day of blogging pictures of my weekend, mostly pictures of my smallest cousins! (since the game didn't go as I'd hoped, but you'll get those pictures too, we'll just go in order!) I never manage to get the pictures in order, no matter how hard I try they always come out wrong. Dang it! Oh well, I'll explain as we go!!

When I first got to FTW we met my Aunt and started the picking up the kiddos. Charlie was not so sure he wanted to be my friend, but he loves Kuddles and he knows the only way to her is through me. So, he put up with me. Olivia and Jack both got in the car saying "where is ASHLEE" I was sitting in the very back of the car, so they couldn't see me!

Charlie and I in the car! Not so sure he wants to smile.

Olivia and I in the car. All the pictures we took at first she was doing this with her hands, after the picture was over she would say "TEXAS LONE STAR!!" Obviously she is being brain washed!

This is a picture of the BEVO BASH in Marrietta, OK where we at Bevo Burgers before heading the rest of the way to the big D. (it's out of order)
This is where Kuddles spent most of the ride down there. Silly dog!

This is the only picture of Jack in the car, after we got him from school, maybe it's those teenage years? Where kids disappear from all pics?
In between getting Liv from school and getting Jack we stopped at Central Market, My favorite!! The kids got balloons and of course needed to pose with them!
Charlie with his balloon. Maybe he'll smile!
In the car, taking pictures!
Silly girl. Thumbs up instead of a texas star!
Okay, not the best picture of me, but you can see Charlie and I are becoming friends! (I'm not afraid to tell you I bribed him with candy) And you can see his sweet dimples!!
Look for more pictures tomorrow! And the rest of the week!
