It's no secret I that love Florida and I'm often very homesick in this landlocked state (that boasts the most coastline HA!) I miss sunsets and palm trees and year-round flip flops and warm and the ocean! I do not like snow, HAIL, tornadoes, and the ever changing weather....really 85 one day and 35 the next....ick! But the other day I was driving down a back road with and the sky was so beautiful I had to get a few shots....
I don't think you could ever take a picture like this in Florida! I love it when the sun peaks out!
The clouds were so pretty (I even see some green)
Even though the trees still have no leaves...
I used to call those things "mommy monsters"
Oklahoma is beautiful even outside of her football stadiums!
I know the pictures of this cutie in this shirt might be getting old...but i really just want to eat him up he is so cute and sweet!! And honestly I never thought he'd be able to steal my heart as much as he has!
If you know me you know I L-O-V-E love football, especially SOONER football...but I support all OU athletics (our baseball team won today, and I can talk about the tennis teams) but, I'm trying really hard to learn about basketball and getting to go to the first two rounds of the tournament are really helping the cause!
Our tour ended tonight we are one of the best 8 teams in the nation and that's not such a bad stat. My heart breaks for those boys, I hope they know that the SOONER nation is so very proud of them!! And of course now I'll cheer for UNC to win the rest of the way, at least that way we lost to the winners!
This post will update you on the pics from Kansas City.
Why thank you!
This one's for Rita!! I saw her boys play! Grammy, Martha, Aunt Becky, and Me
the boys warming up...
coach in the middle
I really like Jeff....we'll keep him as long as he'll stay!
My sign! which can be used for men's and women's bball!
And was on the front page of the Norman Transcript last week :)
Game day food! sooo yummy! Try it if you're going there!
Mr. and Mrs. Griffin, Me, Martha, and our sign!
Toby Keith was like 4 seats away from me (same row) but I didn't want to be all stalker like so I just took a picture where he wouldn't be able to tell :)
Everyone loves Blake!
We won Round 2! Yay!
Taylor, Austin, Blake, Tony, Willie, Cade, Jaun, Omar, Ryan, T.J, Orlando, Ray, and Beau you boys did GREAT!!!! (look how fun basketball is, you can list the whole team!! that would never happen with football!)
If you are one of my faithful (3) readers I understand you have very little interest in this but I am so furious about this attack that I am hoping people who google this incident will find their way here. So, bare with me.
If you found yourself here from google and you are absolutely sickened by this like I am. If you are angry at Morgan State's athletic director who calls this an entanglement, when any one with half a brain can see that Ameer Ali grabbed Blake's arm and purposefully flipped Blake Griffin over then please send your concerns for future players that have to encounter this aggressive player Ameer Ali as well as the college sport in general. Then send an email or a letter to one or all of the following:
Also, I have included NCAA contact information since Morgan State seems to be taking no responsibility for its players actions not even in the form of an apology (even though I'm looking for a suspension or removal from the team) It looks like we will have to hope that the NCAA steps in:
I'm headed to Kansas City for Round 1 and hopefully Round 2 of this years NCAA basketball tournament! I really love filling out brackets for March Madness and am so excited to go to my first ever tournament game to cheer on my beloved SOONERS!!
Sunday we went fishing the ride out was HORRIBLE, like so bad I almost cried, and I L O V E being on the water. I was so scared the waves were high there were bigger boats making BIG wakes the wind was blowing I was FREEZING and I was so scared my camera was going to get wet....
But, I caught the first fish, so things were looking up!
Scott called it a trash fish (mean!)
Really it's a lizard fish- nothing really eats it, including people.
I guess this makes it useless.
But, I think he is important!
This is me waiting to catch something else.
Yes, Scott did make that fishing pole, if you're wondering.
The water started getting pretty!
I also have some kind of obsession with taking pictures of birds flying.
He's really serious when he fishes. Sadly, I forgot to bring my fishing shirt that matches his.
He for real wears that thing to avoid sunburn.
Most of the time he did have it around his neck.
in the boat....waiting.
Then I caught this Sheep's Head.
He is beautiful!
And hard to catch! (so Scott says)
I loved him!
I gave him a pep talk about telling his friends to let me take their pictures, I would give them a free meal and let them go home.
He really just wanted back in the water.
And I wanted to take a good picture.
You know for his FACEBOOK!
I was afraid he was going to die, so I instructed Scott to dip him in the water and let me try again before we let him go.
Oh that's good everyone can see your pretty stripes!
Then it happened.
He smiled really big.
And let me get a picture of....
HIS HUMAN TEETH!!
I'm not going to lie I wanted to keep him a little bit. He is so cute!
Finally Scott caught this lady fish, she's not as cool as my Sheep's Head.
But was way more cooperative during her photo shoot.
Shortly after this we could tell I was a little too red....and we hit the water and headed back to dry land....making me the WINNER, I caught the most fish and the coolest fish!
