The Day the Music Died.

It's been 50 years

50 years ago today after playing one final concert in Iowa Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper died in a plane crash. I for one have celebrated and remembered February 3 for many years. I wasn't alive (my mom wasn't even alive HA!) the day the music died but I have remember/celebrated the event with two of my favorite people Rita and Desiré each and every year. It might not be equal to the tragedies of our day 9/11 or Oklahoma City bombing. But, for the music industry it is and the people in 1959 it will always be a day that stood still.

Take some time and listen and remember THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED.
