Summer Bucket List

I've been working full time and going to school for 5 straight semesters, since I finally have a break (meaning I'm only taking 6 hours online this summer! and I'm still working full time) there are so many things I want to do! I decided to make a list of things to do before I go back to school on August 20th, my Summer Bucket List!

Make Sun Tea - my mom used to always make sun tea in the summer and it seemed so much yummier than regular iced tea! I can't wait to try my hand at making some when the temperatures reach triple digits!

Meet this baby girl! Her mama was my very best friend in middle school and high school and I cannot wait to  go spend some time soaking up her sweetness!

Make Pesto from Basil I grow - I make a mean pesto (according to a certain sweet boy!) I'm pretty sure they only thing that would make it better is if I grow the basil myself! I've already planted quite a bit, here's hoping I get something out of it!

Make an A in both my summer classes - While this summer should be easier than last summer I don't want to let up too much, I'm kind of on a roll in the grade department!

Lose 30lbs - I have lots of incentive to lose some weight, but Garrett added something extra great into the pot, so my goal is to lose 30lbs by 9/30. Wanna be my friend on myfitnesspal? I'm ouashlee.

Finish Mirror Project - I bought the elements to do a big project right before I went back to school last August, and I haven't had any time to finish it. This summer it will be completed!

Go on vacation with my two favorite people - tickets are purchased and the count down is on! Now we just have to get lots and lots of pictures to commemorate the event!

Visit a New State - this one ties in to meeting little miss at the top of the page, I'll be visiting a new state!

Celebrate my Sister's 21st birthday! Even though we won't be together on the actual day we are gonna have a good time after the big day!

Get into an exercise routine - the only way I'll be able to keep up exercising when I go back to actual school in the fall is to get into a good routine now!

Make Bread and Jelly - I've done both of these before, but not in a long time. I'm so excited to eat things I made this summer!

Go to a Wine and Paint class - I have almost no artistic ability, good news is everything is easier after a little bit of wine! So we will drink wine and paint master pieces!

Read 20 books - I only read for fun on school breaks because once I start a book I can't do anything else until it's finished. I have a list to start me out, but I'm open to any suggestions!

Round that out with a visit to our family farm with my grammy, trying some new recipes and lots and lots of relaxing and I think it should be a pretty good summer! Do you make lofty plans for your summers off? Do you just wish you still had a summer?

Also I haven't Mingled in awhile but I thought I would join Meg today as she tries to get over 30 Minglers! Welcome if you're stopping by from there!
